Sickness Income Policy
This plan helps protect your standard of living by providing regular monthly benefit payments if a covered sickness prevents you from working or carrying out your usual daily activities if you are not in paid work.
Features
The Sickness Income Policy provides cover for:
Total disability – We will pay for incapacity if you cannot carry out all duties of your usual occupation or activities (or all of your usual activities of daily living if you are not in paid work).
Partial disability – We will pay for partial disability if you cannot carry out one or more of your duties of your usual occupation or activities (or one or more of your usual activities of daily living if you are not in paid work).
If you have more than one occupation we will make the assessment based on your main one.
- We provide financial support from the fourth day to a maximum period of twelve months.
- Cover is available for those between the ages of 16 and 64.
- You choose the level of cover that best suits your needs.
- When you take out your Sickness Income Policy, you will also receive the services of Best Doctors©, a leading medical advisory service.
- Your policy will end on your 80th birthday.
Benefits Payable to You
- Receive up to €1,250 per month for total loss of time beginning with the 4th day of total disability
