Daily benefits for hospitalisation due to a covered sickness. Benefits are paid from the 1st day of sickness for each night you are in hospital as an in-patient. Benefits are also paid for convalescence following hospitalisation.

So if you should be admitted to hospital overnight as a result of a covered sickness, Combined will pay you up to €320 per day, that’s €9,600 per month for a period of up to 3 years. Following overnight hospitalisation there is usually a recovery period when you are still totally disabled, under the care of a doctor and unable to work. Should that happen, Combined will continue to pay you at home for up to twice the number of days that you were in hospital at the rate of €160 per day, that’s €4,800 per month. If hospitalisation is due to:
