FIRST OFFICE INAUGURATION IN MALAGA

World leader in providing personal accident and healthcare plans, announces the opening of its offices in Malaga, the first in the Spanish market, to meet the growing need for personal accident insurance cover in Spain and also to pursue its national and international development plan.

Combined Insurance has appointed Thomas C. Butler as National Sales Director in Spain. Butler began his Combined career in 1987 as a sales representative and his outstanding performance and leadership qualities progressed him rapidly through management and executive levels. He has been recognised within the Company during this time, by receiving European and International awards for his consistent development of people, premiums and profits. He will now lead the company’s strategic positioning and business development programme for Spain, starting in Andalusia from Combined’s Malaga office and then rapidly expanding throughout the nation.

Combined Insurance also welcomes Rahim Firozali as the company’s Director of Administration in Spain. Firozali with a degree in Business Management and post-graduate studies in Corporate Finance joined Combined Insurance in June 1997, and has been responsible since then for all administration and finance of Combined Insurance in Portugal overseeing the administrative support to an operation that has now grown to approximately 450 sales people, 90,000 customers and currently an annual premium of €15,000,000.

In the first phase in Spain, Combined Insurance will offer its “Accident Hospital Benefit Plan” solely through appointed exclusive Combined Insurance Company Agents. This plan includes immediate cover for hospitalisation, surgery, convalescence, fractures and death due to an accident at home, at work or at leisure, at any time, 24 hours a day, and 365 days a year. In other words in any accidental circumstances whatsoever.

Tom Butler, National Sales Director at Combined in Spain, stated: “We are delighted with this step in Spain and to be able to offer our services and products to the Spanish market and administer our business from Málaga. Our “Accident Hospital Benefit Plan” is very competitively priced and meets the demanding needs of our clients in Andalusia and the rest of Spain.”
