- Annually, 73 fatal accidents reported occurring in the workplace 2
- In one year, there were approximately 8,241 casualties from road traffic accidents with over 370 people dying on our roads.3
So, if you should suffer an accident the last thing you want to worry about is how to pay the bills. With immediate cash lump sums of up to; €300 a day if you are admitted to hospital overnight; up to €210 a day for convalescence; and lump sum payments of up to €2,250 if you suffer a major fracture or up to €1,500 should you require a surgical procedure in a hospital; the Accident Hospital Benefit Plan from Combined removes that worry allowing you to concentrate on getting better.
You will be covered with Combined…
- While driving or as a passenger in any motor vehicle, motorcycle or bicycle
- At the hands of a burglar or by personal assault
- Injuries caused by fire
- Any farm accidents, all types of construction, industrial or any work related activity without restriction
- Playing any sport or taking part in any recreational activity

How you choose to use the benefit is completely up to you.
In summary, Combined’s Accident Hospital Benefit Plan provides you with:
- Cover for any accident at any time.
- Up €300 a day (€2,100 a week) if hospitalised as a result of any accident
- Immediate cash sums available.
- Benefits from the very first day admitted as an in-patient to hospital.
- Up to €210 per day (€1,470 a week) for convalescence
- Lump sum benefits up to €2,250 for major fractures
- Lump sum benefits up to €450 for minor fractures
- Lump sum benefits up to €1,500 for hospital surgical procedures
- Lump sum benefits up to €30,000 for loss of life
- Flexibility to use the benefits how you want to
- Maximum benefits for just 120¢ a day.
- Benefits payable in addition to other accident plans and State Benefits
